Some say Lambo’s latest – the Aventador – is the
most beautiful car in the world. Disagree? Then Like us on Facebook
and join our “lively” debate.
Whatever you think of the looks, you can’t argue
with the power. The Aventador’s as powerful as it is sexy. With a 6.5
liter V12 churning out nearly 700hp, the top speed of 217 mph lends
credibility to the theatrical, exotic styling.
We particularly enjoy the earsplitting shriek of
the engine at high speed; like the car’s ripping the air apart to make
its way through. It’s all very Lamborghini. Head for the freeway, and there’s almost nothing in Most Wanted that can touch the Aventador.
For a car this fast, it’s big and heavy making it surprisingly durable in a fight.
The all-wheel-drive is also great for those long
drift turns that are a Criterion Games trademark. We live for
beautiful, 200 mph drifts, so head for the hills, lay the power down and
slide through every turn.
The original Most Wanted cover car is back. And just like the game, it’s all new and completely reinvented.
This E92 is the ultra-sporty version of the classic 3-series coupe from BMWs legendary Motorsport division.
For the first time in 3 series history, BMW crowbarred a V8 screamer
into the engine bay and then loaded the car with advanced electronics to
make handling it a breeze.
What’s not to love about this car? It’s the same, timeless M3 shape
but with 420 horsepower and an even more menacing exhaust note. If
that’s even possible.
It’s an amazing combination – a street-legal racing car you can drive the kids to school in every day.
You don’t get to do that in Most Wanted. What you do get to do is
race, escape the cops and batter your friends off the road, and nothing
does it better than the M3.
We like to think of it as the perfect all rounder. It’ll handle freeways, off road terrain and dense urban locales equally well.
When Ford set about redesigning the Mustang in 1967, it was so secret
that when asked what he was working on, the chief engineer usually
replied: “the boss’s car”. The name stuck. And the car was a triumph.
We weren’t born then, but when Ford brought back
the Boss in 2012 after a 42-year hiatus, we were first in line to try it
out. The heavily modified, 5-liter V8 delivers a stellar 444
horsepower, but what we really love is the styling – a perfect nod to
the Boss of old.
The car’s weight, strength and stability make it an
excellent Most Wanted car. It’ll shake off heavy impacts from
aggressive cops or other racers and let you dish out wince-inducing
Takedowns on your friends with ease.
